After three goals in the third period resulted in a 2-2 tie, the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings headed to overtime. Anaheim's Jonas Hiller, who had an outstanding game, continued to be sharp in the extra minutes:

The Red Wings needed 49 shots on goal to do it, but they finally managed to get their victory.


But with under five minutes remaining in the first OT, the Wings managed to slip one past him for the win, as Damien Brunner picked up the loose puck:

Todd Bertuzzi replaced the suspended Abdelkader, and managed 4 shots in 14:55 of ice time.
Who will replace Toni Lydman?
Sheldon Souray came back into the lineup to replace Lydman, and performed admirably. He played more than 24 minutes and wasn't on the ice for a goal against.
Can the Wings get their power play going?
This was a shockingly penalty-light game, and Detroit only had a single opportunity to try out their power play Monday night. They failed to convert.
The series is now tied, 2-2, and resumes in Anaheim on Wednesday.
