Senators vs. Canadiens Game 4: Cory Conacher sends it to overtime

A third period meltdown cost the Habs a victory.

At some point during the first intermission, the Canadiens decided they were going to win Game 4, and they played like it. And at some point during the third period, the Senators decided they weren't going to lose.

And now we're going to overtime. Cory Conacher scored with 23 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 2-2.

The comeback started when Mike Zibanejad redirected the puck off his skate past Price at 11:55 into the period.

The key word there is redirected.

Not kicked. Moving on.

Montreal looked like it would hold on, right up until the final minute. Then Daniel Alfredsson worked his magic around the net. Price thought that Alfie would just wrap the puck around the net, but instead the Sens captain flicked the puck behind him, fooling Price and letting Conacher slam the tying goal home.

Habs GM Marc Bergevin was not pleased.
