When you stand around, lose puck battles, and find yourself chasing Blackhawks around your own zone, unlucky things happen. Like saving three shots in tight but immediately letting a fadeaway from distance slip into the net.

USA TODAY SportsIf Horton is hurting, he didn’t show any of it when he met with the media, saying “I’m not in any pain.” He repeatedly said, “I feel good” and that he was never in danger of missing Game 2. When asked about what he did in the last two days, he made absolutely no mention of his injury.
“Just trying to get ready for Game 2 like any other player here,” Horton said. “Just looking at clips, what we need to do better. But I feel good personally.”

Horton left Game 1 after aggravating a shoulder injury that he’s apparently been dealing with since April. He was forced to miss most of the three overtimes in Chicago’s 4-3 sudden victory on Wednesday night.
The forward is a key cog in the Bruins lineup and will be especially necessary with his team trailing a series for the first time in these playoffs because Horton, Lucic and Krejci form one of the most dangerous lines in hockey when they’re going right -- as shown when Horton set up the first of Lucic’s two goals in Game 1.
