The Buffalo Sabres will unveil their new third jerseys on Friday at development camp, the owner's daughter revealed when she took over the team's Twitter on Tuesday.
Sabres to release new third jerseys on Friday
Buffalo is ditching their throwback third jerseys from a year ago for a new sweater that will be unveiled on Friday.

It’s not a surprise that the Sabres will have new third jerseys for the 2013-14 season. Team president Ted Black said as much prior to last season and he reiterated that in a radio interview with WGR 500 last month. As of last month, the new jerseys were not finalized, but they must be now because the team is ready to show them off.
The last third jersey the Sabres wore was 40th anniversary throwback, with a script buffalo across the front of a royal blue jersey with yellow trim and a yellow nameplate on the back. Black said that the new third jerseys would not be retro, but he did not specify exactly what it would look like.
The third jersey is supposed to be the only jersey change for the Sabres. Black said the team has no intention to change their home or away jerseys so any chance of seeing a different jersey will likely be dependent on Buffalo playing in another Winter Classic or some other special occasion that brings out special sweaters.
