NHL Tuesday: Predators embarrass Leafs on home ice

At this point I’m not even sure what to say. How can you console a fanbase of a team that is so tortured and so scrutinized and tell them it’s going to be okay? The season is unraveling quickly, and Toronto’s 9-2 loss to Nashville on Tuesday was a new low.

Right now the Leafs have nobody in their corner. The fans? Hostile.

Even Greene was surprised. Look at his face!

That’s the same face he makes when he lets loose in the locker room or gets caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar by his mom. Now it applies to goal scoring!

Tensions are high in Toronto.

The referees ruled it incidental contact and waved the goal off, even though it was a Sabres player interfering with his own goalie. Considering the NHL is reportedly looking at expanding goalie interference calls, they might want to move on that rule change sooner rather than later.

You might have heard that Buffalo, N.Y. got hit by a huge snowstorm today. It was so huge that forecasts predicted six feet of snowfall and the National Guard was called to western New York.
