Martin Erat with an own goal against the Jets

Martin Erat hasn’t score a goal for his team this season. On Thursday night, he put one in for the other team.

Finally, a puck went into the net this season off of Martin Erat.

The only problem is it went in the wrong net.

This is Erat’s 50th game of the season and he’s yet to score a goal for his team. The longer that streak goes on, the more historic it gets. The guy simply cannot catch a break when it comes to putting the puck in the right net, and now the bad luck has carried over to the defensive zone.

Sometimes it’s just not your year.
