You can't really head into the Olympic Break as terribly as the Vancouver Canucks have the last two weeks. They lost their seventh consecutive game on Saturday to the Maple Leafs, and the dagger goal was the most fitting ending imaginable to this stretch.
Canucks vs. Maple Leafs: Toronto scores off Alexander Edler’s face
The Canucks’ Twitter account has had enough of this nonsense!

Minutes after Phil Kessel scored the go-ahead goal, the Maple Leafs came charging in on Roberto Luongo once again. Leafs forward James van Riemsdyk managed to get a shot off, but it was at a terrible angle and had no chance of going in.
At least, until it hit Alexander Edler’s face.
Oof. Considering how the last couple of weeks have gone for Vancouver, that goal actually makes a lot of sense. Even the Canucks’ social media guy is beaten down.
Literally EVERYTHING is going wrong. That shot went off Edler's face and in. We get it Hockey Gods, hilarious. 3-1 Toronto.
