Players, fans pay tribute to Teemu Selanne after final NHL game
The NHL said goodbye to one of its all-time greats on Friday night.

It wasn't just the Anaheim Ducks' season that came to an end on Friday night, but also the career of NHL legend and future Hall of Famer Teemu Selanne.
After 21 seasons, 684 goals and a Stanley Cup, Selanne played in what was his final game in the Ducks' 6-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings and then received a huge send off from his teammates, Ducks fans and even the Los Angeles Kings.
The NHL may be losing one of its best and most exciting players ever, but it seems that some rec league in Southern California will be gaining its best player.

Selanne played 14 minutes on Friday, including the final minute of regulation, and recorded three shots on goal.
At 43, he obviously lost a step or two this season and finished with just nine goals and 18 assists in 64 games, but only one player (Gordie Howe) recorded more points than Selanne’s 197 in the NHL after his 40th birthday.
