A lot has been made about how two-goal leads are cursed in the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs. After all, 20 of them have been blown so far and the second round is just getting underway.
Marian Gaborik ties Game 1 for Los Angeles with last-second goal
Anaheim was seven seconds away from winning Game 1 until playoff drama struck again.

So maybe Anaheim Ducks fans felt their team was safe with a one-goal lead in the dying seconds of Game 1. It was a nice thought, but these playoffs aren't about to let a night end without one last burst of drama.
With just seven seconds left in the game, Los Angeles Kings forward Marian Gaborik batted in a bouncing puck that was about a foot off the ground to send the game to overtime.
Nice hand-eye coordination, Gaborik. It was a tough way to end regulation for Jonas Hiller, who played a solid game in net for the Ducks. But the 2014 NHL Playoffs don't care. It's all about the drama.
