Jack Eichel is already making NHL defenders look foolish

Eichel flashed his skills against Columbus on Monday.

Everyone knew that Buffalo Sabres rookie phenom Jack Eichel would dominate the NHL someday. But nobody knew that day would be less than a week into his NHL career.

Just take what he did to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday afternoon. First, his succulent pass through a Blue Jackets defender to Evander Kane in the second period was a thing of beauty.

He wasn't finished. Later in the third period, Eichel completed a ridiculous sequence by retrieving his own blocked shot, skating right back in and firing it through a tiny hole in Sergei Bobrovsky to score his second NHL goal.

This kid is good.
