Corey Crawford had an actual hand in helping the Chicago Blackhawks best the Edmonton Oilers Wednesday night. Without this remarkable glove save in the early seconds of a 3-3 overtime match, the Blackhawks would have been done even before their first real line change.
Corey Crawford’s game saving OT glove stop helped the Blackhawks to a win
Chicago would have come away with one point instead of two if this save doesn’t get made.

The spectacular save came on a two-on-one, with Taylor Hall the recipient of a cross ice feed that he wrists quickly at the gaping right side of the net. Crawford manages to track the puck and stretch out a glove on Hall's shot, taking away the only lane that would have given the Oilers the win.
Edmonton protested for a few seconds that they believed the puck to be over the line before Crawford’s magnificent save, but replay clearly shows his glove snagging the puck in the crease, with the recoil of his glove making it look closer than it was.
