Goaltenders always run the risk of getting taken out whenever they leave the goal crease or the trapezoid behind the net. Often, netminders can escape and play the puck without much harm, but other times a player with a full head of steam can turn their adventure out of their net more dangerous.
Predators goaltender gets run into like a bowling pin and flips completely over
Carter Hutton is a champ for staying in this game.

Carter Hutton of the Nashville Predators was on the receiving end of one such crazy play with Buffalo Sabres forward Marcus Foligno. Both Hutton and Foligno go after the loose puck near the far side boards in Nashville's end. Foligno drops into a slide to get the puck, but is unable to stop himself in time as Hutton nears, taking the goaltender out and flipping him over completely.

— Thomas Willis (@TomAWillis) November 26, 2015 Hutton miraculously stayed in the game despite hitting his head on the fall. The hit looks worse than it actually was, even though it seemed Hutton's neck turned completely the wrong way on impact.
