The new 3-on-3 rules in the NHL have given us lots of wonderful moments this year. But on Saturday it delivered a first.
Ryan O’Reilly scores incredible overtime goal while falling backwards
The best OT goal of the year so far.

The Buffalo Sabres battled the Los Angeles Kings to overtime, which is a terrific feat on its own. But the goal that ended the game was ten times more terrific. A Sabres defenseman caught the Kings on a line change midway through overtime, springing winger Ryan O'Reilly with a stretch pass.
O’Reilly toe-dragged, lost his balance and somehow pulled it all off.
