Brian Elliott stretches out the glove for last second goal line save

St. Louis has a chance in this game thanks to their netminder.

The Stars are currently pouring it on the Blues right now with over a double digit shot count lead after two periods. The reason the visiting team isn't down by more than a goal? Netminder Brian Elliott and this crazy goal line save from the doorstep.

Dallas’ Ales Hemsky doesn’t get all of the backhander from the side of the cage, but Elliott had enough of an instinct to go for the pass instead of the shot, reaching behind with his glove to snag the puck right on the line.

The shot went to a replay but like other ones of this nature, it was too hard to tell where the puck was in his glove. It seems that the kick back from the save just pulls Elliott’s glove a hair over the line, but there’s no way to tell where the puck lies within his hand.
