Nathan MacKinnon's goal-less drought has ended at 14 games thanks to some great passing from the Colorado Avalanche early in their game against the Sharks. A month and a few days have passed since the young forward's last goal for the Avalanche, but the power play for Colorado came through for the up and coming star.

— Stephanie (@myregularface) December 29, 2015 Off the rush, Jarome Iginla slid the puck toward Carl Soderberg, who was able to flip the puck off his backhand and feed MacKinnon coming through the slot unimpeded thanks to the extra man. With goaltender Martin Jones unable to get back fast enough, MacKinnon snapped the wrister over the outstretched glove to open the score for Colorado.
