Mark Stone waited until the very last second to tap in this falling rebound

Great patience to finish off this sequence.

Mark Stone needed to have patience to finish this rebound, but it was well worth it for his sixth goal this season. On a goal that broke a 2-2 game against the Blackhawks, Stone made his chance in front of the net worth it on this power play opportunity.

Erik Karlsson’s shot from the top of the slot rebounded off of netminder Corey Crawford’s pad and into the air. Stone, on the power play, was able to keep his position as the goaltender remained clueless as to where the puck had gone. He batted the puck in just before it hit Crawford in the back or the Chicago defender could swipe it away.

Bobby Ryan’s drop pass is also a thing of beauty, starting the sequence with some flair before Stone’s finish.
