Boston will be without key forward Brad Marchand when it takes the ice in Foxborough on Friday for the 2016 Winter Classic. Marchand will be serving a three-game suspension thanks to his violently unnecessary hit on Ottawa defenseman Mark Borowiecki in the Bruins game against the Senators Tuesday night.

The NHL released a video on the suspension, which details the low, clipping hit from Marchand that flipped Borowiecki onto his head.
This isn't Marchand's first go-around with a suspension for this type of hit, as he was given a five-gamer after clipping Canucks defenseman Sami Salo in a similar manner back in 2012.
