The Montreal Canadiens were seemingly coasting to a 1-0 shutout victory early in the third period over Boston Wednesday evening, until the Bruins scored twice to silence the Bell Centre and completely take over the game. Boston kept pressing, until a mistake on a Canadiens power play allowed them an opportunity to even the score.

Loui Eriksson netted Boston's first on a shorthanded breakaway. Carrying a defender on his back, Eriksson managed to speed away on a Montreal turnover before slipping the puck five-hole on Mike Condon.
