The Capitals were in the midst of a late-game comeback when Alex Ovechkin ripped a shot in on net as he entered the offensive zone. The puck went behind the net, and Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh went in to collect it when Ovechkin met him with a massive hit into the glass.
