Dylan Larkin’s incredible individual effort leads to Red Wings overtime game-winner

Best rookie? Best rookie.

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Dylan Larkin may trail Chicago Blackhawks winger Artemi Panarin in the rookie points race, but he sure leads the entire field in style.

The Red Wings rookie dazzled again on Thursday, setting up a goal in overtime to give his team a 3-2 win in Arizona. It took an incredible individual effort to get it done, though. Larkin sped into the offensive zone, split two defenders and curled back around for another pass before feeding Danny DeKeyser the winning assist.
