Oilers goalie ruins the comeback by leaving his net and giving up an awful goal

The Edmonton Oilers had worked so hard to tie the game on Tuesday. Down 4-2, Edmonton scratched and clawed its way back to even with two third-period goals in Tampa Bay.

They even got a power play! A perfect chance to complete the comeback and take the lead. That was when goalie Anders Nilsson made the worst possible decision a goalie could make.

He left the net.

The odds of him beating Brian Boyle to the puck there were so slim, we're not sure what he was thinking. But the Lightning took the 5-4 lead anyway.
