The NFL announced on Thursday that this year's Hall of Fame Game will feature the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Aug. 3, at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The game will take place the day after the induction of the seven members of the 2014 Hall of Fame class, which includes former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan and former Bills receiver Andre Reed.
NFL Hall of Fame Game 2014: Bills, Giants will play in Canton
Doug Marrone and Tom Coughlin will lead their respective teams in the NFL’s annual exhibition opener in August.

New York played in the first Hall of Fame game in 1962 -- the game ended in a 21-21 tie against the St. Louis Cardinals -- and this will be the first time they will play against Buffalo in the league's opening exhibition game. The Giants are 2-1-1 in the game's history, while the Bills are 0-3.
The Bills will be trying to get off on the right foot after another losing season in 2013. Buffalo hasn’t posted a winning record since 2004 and hasn’t made the playoffs since 1999. The Giants are hoping for a quick turnaround after their disappointing 7-9 finish in 2013, their first losing season since 2004.
The other former players to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this August are Walter Jones, Ray Guy, Derrick Brooks, Claude Humphrey, and Aeneas Williams.
The game will be televised on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, and will broadcast on Westwood One Radio.
