Beef Breakdown: This is a story about how any bond — even one gilded with championship gold — can be broken. Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo started as close friends, then Allen became a mentor to Rondo, then Allen moved to Miami to win some more rings. He also got himself some beef with his old pal Rajon.
Best Known For: Ray being excluded from some of the other Celtics get-togethers helped spotlight how badly things had soured.
Matchup Prediction: The Shaq-JaVale beef is hilarious and earns bonus points for getting their mothers involved. The Ray-Rajon story is a bit more relatable as it’s a friendship torn to shreds. It’s likely a toss up, but anything that includes Shaq deserves an edge.
