Pescara vs. Atalanta: Final score 0-0 as ten man Atalanta hang on for a point

Very little can be said about this scoreless match, except that it appears as though Pescara’s Serie A adventure will end after this season.

Federico Peluso was sent off in the 47th minute, after receiving a second yellow for a poor challenge on Juan Quintero. Despite playing almost the entire second half with ten men, Atalanta managed to hang on for the point at Pescara.

Pescara have scored just six goals in nine matches thus far in Serie A. The point lifts them out of the relegation zone, but just barely. Atalanta are just a point above, in 15th.

What more can be said about such a dreary game of football?
