Despite being in the bottom half of the table, Torino currently boast the fourth best defence in the league.
Their 2-0 defeat to Roma on Monday night was only their fourth loss of the season. The Granata's problem is that they don't seem to win many games. Seen as proverbial draw specialists, Giampiero Ventura's men have picked up three victories and shared the spoils on six occasions since their return from Serie B thus far.
Fiorentina have quashed speculation of an over reliance on Montenegrin marksman Stevan Jovetic, as the side have been without him for the past two weeks, due to muscular problems.
Despite being tipped to make his return in Turin, Jo-Jo has failed a fitness test and will remain on the sidelines.
Coach Vincenzo Montella said: "Jovetic has effectively recovered, but we don't want to risk him, as his injury is in a delicate position."
Fiorentina fans are finally seeing the best of Alberto Aquilani. The former Roma and Liverpool midfielder seems to have put his injury problems behind him and has responded with three goals in his last two starts.
Alessio Cerci will have a point to prove against his parent club. The on loan winger will be one of Torino's key players to watch out for, along with Rolando Bianchi, who has four league goals to his name.
