It appears as if Charlie Davies will elude further punishment as French officials have apparently deemed it sufficient to fine the U.S. National Team soccer player $1,040 and suspend his driver’s license.
Davies Fined $1,040, Has License Suspended For Speeding Incident
A French police official, who was not authorized to be publicly named, said Monday that Davies has been fined. The official said neither player has officially contradicted the original version of events to police.
According to the AP report, French officials are not investigating the incident further.
