Aston Villa Vs. West Brom: Another Marc Albrighton Cross Headed Home, With Emile Heskey Giving Villa A 2-0 Lead

Winger Marc Albrighton has picked up his second assist of the match, with a cross from the left flank finishing Emile Heskey in the middle of the six yard box. The Villa striker, making his return from injury today, had an easy header for Villa's second goal, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead in their Derby with West Brom.

The play started with a corner kick to the right of Scott Carson's goal. Villa played it short, with a cross eventually sent over the penalty area. Albrighton's hussle saved the ball from going out, and after a couple of touches back up the pitch, the young winger put an in-swinger into Carson's box. The ball seemed set for James Collins, but when the Villa defender leaped by missed the pass, the ball dropped to Heskey, who had a simple header for goal in the 81st minute.

Now in the 85th minute, the score remains 2-0, though Heskey's day is done. The veteran forward has given way to Nathan Delfouneso as Gerard Houllier tries to kill-off the match.
