The ball seemed set for James Collins, but when the Villa defender leaped by missed the pass, the ball dropped to Heskey, who had a simple header for goal in the 81st minute.
Now in the 85th minute, the score remains 2-0, though Heskey's day is done. The veteran forward has given way to Nathan Delfouneso as Gerard Houllier tries to kill-off the match.
