Chelsea Vs. Aston Villa: Didier Drogba Finds Equalizer For Blues

There's been a small hint of desperation in the air surrounding Stamford Bridge yet the brevity of nervousness that was filling the minds and hearts of the Chelsea faithful has now exploded into a rapturous roar of emotion and joy as Chelsea, once 1-2 down, have found an equalizer through Didier Drogba with 15 minutes plus stoppage time remaining.

As the defending Champions pushed forward in hopes they'd find a score, it was a mad scramble that allowed Drogba the chance to collect the ball from close range, side-step a few Aston Villa defenders and blast emphatically past Carlos Cuellar who could do little to clear Drogba's powerful strike.

While plenty of time remains at Stamford Bridge for either side to push on and find a winner, it’s Chelsea and not Villa who remain on the front foot and look the more likely of the two sides to score again.
