Blackpool FC Vs. Manchester United: Blackpool Nearly Double Lead

Patrice Evra's back for Manchester United, this time in a blank (and presumably less bloody shirt). However, it's a different defender making noise for United, with captain Nemanja Vidic inexplicably diving towards his own goal and very nearly scoring an amazing header. Edwin van der Saar was the hero, somehow keeping the ball out, but Blackpool are looking exceptionally dangerous - DJ Campbell should have put them two nil just now after more panic in the United defence gave him a free shot from the penalty spot, but he blazed over.

Meanwhile, Dimitar Berbatov had another chance to equalise, but got the ball stuck under his feet and couldn't get the shot away before a mass of orange shirts closed him down. This is turning into an extremely exciting match at Bloomfield Road, although I can't imagine Sir Alex Ferguson is happy with the 1-0 scoreline. Ian Holloway will be, though!
