All the momentum was with Manchester United after they came back from a 2-0 deficit to level the scores at Bloomfield Road, and it comes as no surprise that Dimitar Berbatov has just put them ahead 3-2, their third goal in fifteen minutes. Blackpool, now shellshocked and tiring, look highly unlikely to pull level again - despite ten minutes of injury time - and this may well go down as the game in which United won the title.
Blackpool FC Vs. Manchester United: Berbatov Puts United Ahead
It's been a spectacular recovery from a very poor first half for Sir Alex Ferguson's side, and the introduction of Ryan Giggs has really been the impetus behind the comeback. The winger's provided some serious width on the left, stretched Blackpool's defence, and provided the assist for Javier Hernandez's equalizer. It was fellow veteran Paul Scholes who made Berbatov's second goal, however, with a trademark through pass finding the Bulgarian in the box with a fairly difficult finish from a tight angle. It didn't prove a problem for the enigmatic striker, who's now on a hattrick.
