It's scoreless at the break at Anfield, but it really shouldn't be after Liverpool had a completely legitimate Fernando Torres goal ruled out for offside inside the first ten minutes of the match. Raul Meireles has also come close for the home side, who are edging it in terms of possession and chances. Don't rule out a Fulham upset, though - Moussa Dembele should have put the Londoners ahead shortly before the half-hour mark when he was picked out unmarked in the middle of the area only to see his shot go right at Pepe Reina.
Fulham FC Vs. Liverpool FC: 0-0 At Halftime
Both sides are playing fluid, pretty football while in possession but defending reasonably well. Most of the attacks in the match so far have come either from individual mistakes (a bad mistake by Martin Kelly allowed Fulham their two close chances), long range shots, or crosses slung in after the fullbacks, especially Glen Johnson on the left, have bombed forwards. Look for the linesman's decision making to feature prominently in Kenny Daglish's postgame interview should the score remain like this after another 45 minutes. Liverpool will attack the Kop end next half.
