There are 67 minutes gone, and it appears that the Los Angeles Galaxy will be playing a home game in the MLS Cup Final, thanks to a Robbie Keane goal. The score is now 3-1 LA over Real Salt Lake, and with the way Los Angeles has defended leads this season, it would be stunning to see Real Salt Lake score twice. The Irish international has had an excellent game, and it seemed like only a matter of time before he scored.
Los Angeles Galaxy Vs. Real Salt Lake, 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs: Robbie Keane Seals The Deal?
Unfortunately for RSL, a healthy Jamison Olave probably would have prevented the goal. When Keane picked up the ball 20 yards outside of the penalty area, it appeared that Olave would be able to close him down, but the central defender couldn't get Keane off the ball, then couldn't react when Keane cut back onto his right foot. He placed his shot into the back of the net at the far post, and that appears to put an end to RSL's cup dreams.
