That slight drizzle that was looming over the heads of Newcastle players has now officially turned into a downpour at St. James' Park as the away side have just found their third of the day after only 10 minutes. Robin van Persie finished brilliantly from inside of the box where he had plenty of time and space to pick his spot.
Newcastle Vs. Arsenal: Brilliant Arsenal Now Up 0-3 Through Robin Van Persie
Abou Diaby found Theo Walcott out wide who put a move on Jose Enrique to cross into van Persie. Van Persie, halfway between the penalty spot and the goal line, met Walcott's ball with his right foot and Newcastle's already large problems were instantly augmented.
The story at St. James' Park has honestly been Newcastle's inability to do anything but chase Arsenal's more superior players around the pitch. They've shown very little in any kind of attack of their own and seem unable to mark Arsenal's attackers. Now after the 15 minute mark, the contest is all but over for the home side.
