Blackpool Vs. Wigan Athletic: DJ Campbell Nets Consolation Goal For Hosts

Blackpool have grabbed a goal back but it looks to be far too little far too late as they're still 3-1 down at Bloomfield Road to Wigan Athletic. Since the visitors' third, they've been pressing high up the pitch desperate to score, and they've had several close chances called off for a combination of offsides and terrible finishing. DJ Campbell has the on the board now, at least, but with jsut a few minutes to do it doesn't look like that's going to do them much good - Charlie Adam has resorted to shots form the halfway line to reduce the deficit further. It didn't work.

Anyway, it was a fairly simply goal from Campbell, squeezing in at the near post after a Blackpool free kick led to a Matt Phillips cross, but with just injury time left to go it doesn’t look likely that they’ll get the two goals they need to even get one point out of this debacle.
