New York Red Bulls coach Hans Backe was apparently so impressed by Luke Rodgers' two-goal, one-assist performance on Saturday that he's giving him an encore performance. The diminutive striker will start his second straight game in place of Juan Agudelo as the Red Bulls get ready to face DC United on Thursday. Agudelo has scored just once this season and that came in Week 2.

United will also be sitting one of their prominent youngsters as midfielder Andy Najar is not in the starting XI. Najar has started just twice this season and has yet to register a point. Najar did not play in Saturday's game against Toronto FC and has not started since March 26.
