Manchester City Vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Pablo Zabaleta Leaves Match With Head Injury

Manchester City left back Pablo Zabaleta's evening hasn't been good, and now he has more problems than Aaron Lennon to worry about. After going up for a challenge with Peter Crouch, Zabaleta's nose began bleeding rather profusely, and five minutes and several pints of blood later he decides he can't continue and wanders off down the tunnel, hopefully for a transfusion. Aleksandar Kolarov will replace the Argentine.

Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, have just been denied a penalty by referee Mike Dean, and just like the one he didn't give to City in the first half, it appears to have been the right call on replay. Spurs are having an excellent spell, however, and one can't imagine that the absence of Zabaleta will do Roberto Mancini's back line any good - he might have been given a torrid time by Lennon but it's not like Kolarov will do any better against the speedy winger.
