United has turned in back to back solid performances against the Seattle Sounders and FC Dallas, and they'll be looking to continue their good play against the defending champions. Inserting Ethan White at centerback beside Dejan Jakovic and moving Perry Kitchen to right back has made the back line more consistent over the last two matches.
The Rapids will be without Folan and Cummings tonight due to injuries. Conor Casey is on the bench and could see action as a substitute. The Rapids will be counting on Jeff Larentowicz and Pablo Mastroeni to stifle the United attack and be a calming presence in the midfield.
