Espanyol have the advantage against Athletic Bilbao thanks to a highly dubious goal scored by Pablo Osvaldo, who picked up a badly botched volley back into the Bilbao box from what appeared to be an offside position before steering the ball the ball past Gorka Iraizoz and into the back of the net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Bilbao are furious - they think it should have been an easy offside call, and I'd be inclined to agree with them, although it's really not clear from the replays.

No matter what, the goal stands, rather making up for an earlier chance from Osvaldo when the Argentine’s excellent run beat the offside trap but his first time shot was saved, relatively easily, by Iraizoz. The visitors are looking to respond quickly by pushing up the pitch, but that’s just letting Esponyol hit on the counterattack, where they’re looking dangerous. So, advantage to the hosts in the battle for seventh.
