Lazio has been denied a penalty kick when they surely had a fair shout, but the referee felt that Sergio Floccari was already going to ground when Giorgio Chiellini clipped his heel in front of Gigi Buffon's goal. It surely looked as though a clear goal scoring opportunity may have been denied, but the failure to earn one have revived Lazio a bit for the final 25 minutes of the match. Hernanes took a shot from about twenty five yards, but the halftime cappuccino must have kept Buffon awake, because the Juventus keeper was quick to push the ball out for a corner.
