The current MLS Cup champions Colorado Rapids are traveling to the east coast tonight to take on the New York Red Bulls.
Ongoing MLS (Mid)Week 11: New York Red Bulls Vs. Colorado Rapids
The Red Bulls will be without the veteran Mexican international Rafa Marquez in the back tonight. The Rapids will be without strikers Omar Cummings and Caleb Folan.
New York is second in the Eastern Conference heading in to tonight’s match. They’re only a point behind the Philadelphia Union, so a victory will see them leapfrog into first place. Colorado is lingering around 6th in the Western Conference, but a win would see them vault all the way into second place. I could go into far more details about the standings and how each team has played a random number of games at this point in the season, but I won’t. It just seems pointless to complain about that.

New York Red Bulls: Sutton, Solli, Mendes, Ream, Miller, Ballouchy, Tainio, De Rosario, Lindpere, Rodgers, Henry\
