Bundesliga Transfer Rumors: Borussia Dortmund Signing Ivan Perisic

Bundesliga Champions Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of signing Club Brugge forward Ivan Perisic, 22, according to reports out of Germany. The deal is expected to be around €5.5 million.

The Croatian International led the Belgian Pro League in scoring this season with 22 goals. He was voted by his peers as the player of the year in Belgium. Perisic told the Club Brugge website “Next to my title as top scorer this is a nice award, which I also have to thank my team-mates and coaches at Club Brugge for. I am happy to be able to leave the club in such a good way, it was an important period in my career, thank you all.”

The signing of Perisic will be the second of the summer for Dortmund. They have already signed İlkay Gündoğan from Nürnberg. Both players will be attempting to alleviate the loss of Nuri Şahin who left Dortmund to sign with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
