Bundesliga Transfer Rumors: Wolfsburg And Schalke After Christian Trasch

According to Bild, Wolfsburg and Schalke are after Stuttgart midfielder Christian Träsch. Bayer Leverkusen have also shown interest.

Träsch's current contract runs through the end of next season, and he has turned down a 5 year extension offered by Stuttgart. It is obvious that the Germany midfielder does not plan on staying past the end of next season in Stuttgart. The club will struggle to hold on to Träsch this summer, as his great form in the 2010-2011 season saw him shine in the eyes of many.

Stuttgart’s Director of Sport Fredi Bobic told Bild that offers have already been received for Träsch, but they were so low that the club dismissed them immediately. It is believed they will be looking for around €10 million for the midfielder. The club is not giving up hope in resigning Träsch, however. Resigning him to an extension remains one of their top priorities for the summer.
