Arsenal FC Transfer Rumors: Gunners Bidding For Birmingham’s Scott Dann

Birmingham City's Scott Dann is generally regarded as a quality Premier League central defender, so it should come as no surprise that he's looking for a move away from now-Championship side Birmingham City. The rumors have some of the big boys coming in for his services, and the Blues could be in for a nice payday as a result. Liverpool have been linked to Dann for a while, but the rumors now have Arsenal entering the chase for his services.

Dann is big, strong, intelligent and only 24 years old, so it's obvious why he would be a target for bigger clubs. The above-linked article doesn't specify a transfer fee, but it would be hard to believe that either Liverpool or Arsenal was willing to pay eight figures for the defender. Or, at least I hope no one is about to pay £10 million or more for Scott Dann. That's not going to happen...right?
