Arsenal Transfer Rumors: Emmanuel Eboue Set For Galatasaray Move

Arsenal are expected to lose a player within the next few days, but it won't be Cesc Fabregas or Samir Nasri. Instead, it's Ivorian Emmanuel Eboue who'll be getting the boot from the Emirates - hardly a surprise after a miserable series of performances last year found the versatile defender in Arsene Wenger's doghouse. Eboue hasn't travelled on any of Arsenal's preseason expeditions, and word has it that that's because he'll be joining Turkish outfit Galatasaray for £4M.

It’s not a huge loss for the Gunners, of course - they’ve been doing without Eboue for some time now, with the 28-year-old only featuring in 13 league goals last season. As for Galatasary, they’re getting a decent enough player for the Turkish SuperLig, at a decent enough price as they attempt to push to regain relevance in a country that’s been stung by corruption and scandal.
