It's all getting a little bit depressing for Arsenal fans, I'm afraid. Left back Gael Clichy is all but gone, they look as though they're losing captain and talisman Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, and now winger Samir Nasri is on the verge of leaving the club for around £20M to either Manchester City or Manchester United, depending on who you believe. What seems certain, however, is that he's departing the Emirates for pastures new (and, from the sounds of things, plenty more money).
Arsenal Transfer Rumours: Samir Nasri Linked To Moves To Manchester United, City
We could be very well looking at the disintegration of Arsenal’s core here, although that might not be a bad thing considering their performance compared to their obvious talent over the last few years. For Arsene Wenger and the Gunners, a mass exodus might be just what the doctor ordered. Should they lose the three mentioned above they’ll see a huge influx of money, perhaps enough to kick-start the development of the next great (maybe) Arsenal team.
