Sounds like the Jordan Henderson to Liverpool rumour had legs after all. The Times are reporting that a deal is nearly done to being the England under-21 international to Anfield, with David Ngog heading the other direction:
Liverpool FC Transfer Rumors: Jordan Henderson Very Close To Being Anfield-Bound
Henderson deal complete, subject to medical, personal terms. N'gog coming in other direction. As of earlier #Safc asking £13m + player.
You'd think, honestly, that Steve Bruce and Sunderland would be able to do better than £13M plus David Ngog for Henderson, who is one of their top midfielders and - you'd think - rather difficult to replace. Would it not be better to take the cash and find a real striker and a midfielder rather be left with David Ngog and far less money?
