After dominating the early stages, Chelsea have broken through against Norwich after just 6 minutes. Both Ramires and Fernando Torres had shots saved/blocked before Bosingwa, finding lots of space in the Norwich midfield, lashed an unstoppable shot to the right of John Ruddy.
Chelsea v Norwich: Jose Bosingwa Opens Scoring
Norwich have started with 5 at the back, and look uncomfortable playing it. With only 3 in the midfield, Chelsea are dominating possession, and neither Bosingwa or Ashley Cole are getting closed down because Richie De Laet and Kyle Naughton are too deep. Playing 3/5 at the back against a team playing two strikers isn’t a bad idea, but Norwich look uncomfortable, and, if they are to get back into the match, might have to take off one of the centre backs and revert to a diamond formation or a 3 man central midfield. Grant Holt has put in a very Shane Long-esque performance so far, but is lacking the service. John Obi Mikel is taking care of Norwich’s star man, Wes Hoolahan.
