Robbie Keane and Omar Gonzalez may very well be up late tonight as thoughts of their misses against haunt their thoughts. Both players had great chances to score in the first half of the Los Angeles Galaxy's CONCACAF Champions League group stage match against Monarcas Morelia, but they instead had to settle going into halftime tied 0-0.

Keane's chance came in the 17th minute when Mike Magee sent a beautiful low cross through the goal box. Keane was just inches away from putting it past the Morelia goalkeeper, but he couldn't quite catch up to the pass.
In the 31st minute, Landon Donovan put a perfectly placed free kick to the back post that Omar Gonzalez was able to get to first. His header beat the Morelia goalkeeper, but after taking a strong bounce off the turf, it struck the cross bar and went out of bounds.
Morelia most had the better run of play, but their best chance came on a Galaxy mistake. Goalkeeper Josh Saunders tried to clear a ball, but it hit off Gonzalez and nearly into the goal.
