Tottenham Hotspur have gotten off to a scintillating start at White Hart Lane against Liverpool and Luka Modric has made it count. The midfielder hit the ball first time and planted the ball straight into Pepe Reina's top corner to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Thing went from bad to worse shortly thereafter for Liverpool, who look as though they may have lost Daniel Agger to a hip injury as well. Sebastian Coates is warming in order to replace the veteran defender, but it looks as though he'll struggle through it for now. Oh, and Luis Suarez has had a goal ruled out for offside. Because it was offside. No controversy there.
