Fernando Torres has just scored a goal for Chelsea. This means they just win automatically, right? *Checks rulebook* Crap, that is not in the rulebook. Chelsea are still trailing Manchester United 3-1, and will need to score two more goals in order to get points from this game. Oh well! That was still insanely cool and should give Chelsea a boost.
Manchester United Vs. Chelsea Live, 2011 Premier League: Fernando Torres Goal. WAIT WHAT?
It was also absolutely stunning. I feel like a hundred million people around the world are staring at their televisions slack-jawed, wondering what the hell just happened. In the first minute of the first time, substitute Nicolas Anelka played an absolutely brilliant through ball into the penalty area for Torres to run onto. He did exactly that and chipped the ball over David De Gea with his first touch, hitting the back of the net.
I’m still in absolute disbelief that I just saw that.
